Zac Brown Is Engaged!
On Thursday (July 24), musician Zac Brown revealed to PEOPLE that he had proposed to his jewelry designer girlfriend, Kendra Scott.
In a statement to PEOPLE, “We are so happy and grateful that we found each other.”
Brown gave Scott a huge pink diamond, but they seem to be keeping the details about the ring and their engagement personal.
During an appearance on the TODAY Show to promote the Zac Brown Band’s new album, the hosts congratulated the musician and tried to ask for more details. Brown kept things close to his chest, but he did say:
“I’m blessed, I feel good. I got her good,” when it came to popping the question.
One of the hosts asked about the ring, seeing as Scott is a multi-millionaire thanks to her jewelry business.
“What are you gonna get someone that designs jewelry?” he said with a laugh. “But it’s incredible. [I’m] so happy, we’re so happy we found each other. We’re blessed. [The engagement] just adds so much energy to everything else. More to give to music, more to give to our families and everything. So we’re blessed.”
Scott was beaming with pride as he was speaking about their engagement.

Zac And Kendra Went Public With Their Relationship In May
While they have likely been together for a while, the couple went public with their relationship at the American Music Awards on May 26, 2025.
“Hit the @amas red carpet with the best date by my side.💙,” Brown captioned a photo of him and Scott on Instagram. “Ready to soak it all in and have some fun tonight!”
In June, the jewelry designer and philanthropist shared several photos of the couple from their time together.
The pair were set up by a mutual friend and have been vocal about how blessed they feel to have met each other, especially at the time they did.
Scott, a famed jewelry designer, has designed jewelry worn by countless celebrities, even Dolly Parton!
Her company is valued at over a billion dollars and she has over 100 storefronts. Her jewelry is also sold in the stores Selfridges, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Von Maur, Bloomingdale’s, and over 1,000 specialty boutiques worldwide.
Brown was previously married to Shelly Brown for 12 years, divorcing in 2018. They share four daughters and a son together. In August 2023, he married model Kelly Yazdi, but filed for divorce just four months later.
Scott was married to John Scott from 2000-2006 and they share two children together. Following their divorce, she remarried in 2014 and had one child with her second husband, Matt Davis. She married her third husband, Thomas Evans, in early 2022 and it is not publicly known when they split.
Brown and Scott seem ecstatic to blend their families, with eight children between the two of them from age 11-23.
