RH SHOCK: Micah Parsons teases a bold new look — and Cowboys fans are instantly split between hype and hesitation.

You’ll be shocked to learn that the Dallas Cowboys still have not extended Micah Parsons. It seems unlikely that a deal will get done before training camp, but there is no reason to believe that Parsons’ future is in doubt. He will become the richest defender in NFL history. It is simply a matter of when and how much his price increases if (when?) other edge rushers sign on the dotted line first.

While we know that Parsons will be at training camp, it’s unclear what capacity, if any, he will practice in. While we all wait for the verdict, Parsons might show up to Oxnard sporting a different look.

Earlier this offseason, the All-Pro said he was considering going bald. The change seems to be gaining momentum after Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker shaved his head for team photos ahead of his fourth season.

“I just needed someone to start it off! Man here it come!” Parsons posted on X.

Cowboys’ Micah Parsons might shave his head bald for the 2025 season

Most of the fans in the comment section are actually in favor of Parsons going bald, but the endorsements were mixed with some vetos, for lack of a better term.

While Parsons’ hair has been short throughout his Cowboys tenure, a bald transformation is significant regardless of an individual’s previous hairstyle. A bald Parsons will take some getting used to.

Parsons, who will have his jersey retired at Harrisburg High School, might be following his quarterback’s lead. Dak Prescott has rocked the two-sleeve look under his jersey for several seasons, but he was spotted at minicamp without a sleeve on his throwing arm.

It remains to be seen if that will manifest come September, but it seems like both Prescott and Parsons could change up their signature looks this season. It just so happens that both players are looking to bounce back from injury-riddled campaigns.

A high-ankle sprain caused Parsons to miss four games, but he still managed to make NFL history by producing 12 sacks. He joined late Hall of Famer Reggie White, arguably the great pass rusher to ever grace a football field, as the only players to record 12 or more sacks in each of their first four seasons.

Cowboys fans might be divided on Parsons possibly going bald, but his haircut won’t matter if he continues to be great on the field.
