These animals trusted us to take care of them while they give their undying love and loyalty in return. They keep us company, never judge us, and stick with us through the most difficult times.

Then, all of a sudden, this love is not enough anymore for reasons they can’t understand. This is why most of them are confused and anxious when they’re suddenly left in the street.

Such a dog was found on the side of the road.

It was raining and the road provided scarce protection from the unrelenting weather. The gray skies only made the scene sadder.

But her family wasn’t on their way to get her.

She doesn’t know it yet but she was already homeless. She has no shelter, no food, and no family to love.

But things won’t stay as bleak as the weather. Because as she was waiting for someone to come get her, a team of rescuers saw her on the side of the road.Advertisement

At first, she greeted the rescuers with growling.

She doesn’t know who or what their intentions are. All she knows is that she needs to wait for her family and she can’t just let someone take her away from this place.

The rescuers kept their distance for a while, though. They gave her space to make her feel safe but they never left the dog.Advertisement

The rescuers then began to coax her with food.

They know that no one’s going to come back for her so they needed to let her know that they mean no harm. They need her to trust them so they could take her to a safer place.

Fortunately, the dog got closer to them and began eating the treats they offered. She felt that these people only wanted the best for her so, in the end, she agreed to come with them.

The rescuers carried her and took her into the car.

They drove back to the rescue shelter where a pack of orphaned and abandoned dogs greeted the newcomer. They were jumping and crawling on top of each other just so they can have a glimpse of the dog.

She was placed in one of the empty cages and was quickly inspected for any wounds, injuries, or other things that needed urgent attention.

One month later, her life changed as suddenly as when she was abandoned.

She was adopted by a loving family who named her “Lady”. In the footage they shared with the rescue shelter, Lady was excitedly running around a large yard and together with another dog.
