Coldplay returned to the stage for the first time since now-former tech CEO Andy Byron was caught on the band’s kiss cam embracing a coworker who is not his wife. While frontman Chris Martin didn’t directly address the viral moment during the band’s Saturday night concert in Madison, Wisconsin, he did offer a playful heads-up ahead of the night’s jumbotron segment.

“We’d like to say hello to some of you in the crowd and put some of you on the big screen,” Martin remarked with a laugh. “How we’re going to do that is we’re going to use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen. Please, if you haven’t done your makeup, do your makeup now!” Watch fan-captured footage below.
During the jumbotron segment at Coldplay’s concert in in Foxborough, MA, earlier this week, Astronomer CEO Byron was seen embracing a woman identified by multiple media outlets as the company’s Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot. Upon realizing they were on camera, Byron quickly ducked out of view while Cabot covered her face and turned away.
“Oh, look at these two,” Coldplay frontman Chris Martin said upon spotting the pair. “All right, come on, you’re OK! Oh, what? Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”
Video of the moment quickly went viral on social media, with the original TikTok racking up over 100 million views. It has also inspired numerous parodies — most notably, the Philadelphia Phillies spoofed the pair during Friday night’s game. On Saturday, Byron tendered his resignation from the company.
