son.Eagles star AJ Brown says the NFL should have eliminated Monday games that embarrass rival teams.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown came up with a radical plan Thursday in the name of player safety — eliminating “Monday Night Football.”

Brown and the Eagles will play the New York Giants on Christmas Day. It will be the team’s second straight game after falling to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 15.

In an interview with DraftKings, Brown lamented the physical toll on players on a shortened week.

“Honestly, it definitely does. Because it’s a short week and right after a game, you only have a certain amount of time for your body to recover, and it speeds up the process, and that adds … wear and tear with practice,” the star wide receiver said.

“So it’s tough. I think they should get rid of Monday night games. I know it’s great, people are watching you on Monday night, but it’s tough to turn things around after that, especially if you’re out of the game for a little bit.” .”

Short weeks are tough for players to stay healthy, and at the end of the season, every team probably wants a little extra rest.

But Monday night or Thursday night games aren’t going anywhere. The NFL even added a Black Friday game for the first time this year.
