Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff is having a big week. The biggest week of his entire life. He became a father when he and his wife, Christen, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Romy.      

Congratulations to the Goff family are in order. This prompted me to take a look at the correlation between girl dads and Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks. What I found was that girl dads are bringing home the Lombardi trophy a lot. Take a look. 

There you go. Unless you’re Jalen Hurts, the ticket to the Super Bowl is having a daughter. That surely means Jared Goff and the Lions will soon have their day.
