B. After 6 years of marriage, Aaron Phypers officially filed for divorce from actress Denise Richards.

Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers have called it quits, Us Weekly can confirm.

Phypers, 52, filed for divorce on Monday, July 7, at Los Angeles’ Stanley Mosk Courthouse, according to court documents obtained by Us. Phypers listed the pair’s date of separation as Friday, July 4.

He cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split, noting that he and Richards, 54, do not have any minor children. (Phypers, however, did list Richards’ youngest daughter, Eloise, 14, as his stepchild in the court docs.)

Phypers is asking the court to award him spousal support and seeking the return of his power tools as outlined in the filing.

Phypers, who married Richards in September 2018, also revealed his estranged wife’s alleged monthly income as $250,000. He further claimed in the documents that he made zero dollars over the past 12 months after shutting down his business.

Phypers noted that he spends $105,000, including rent of $18,000 monthly which is paid by others.

Us Weekly has reached out to Richards and Phypers for comment.

Richards met Phypers at his wellness clinic, Quantum 360, in 2017, more than a decade after she and Charlie Sheen divorced in 2006. (Richards shares daughters Sami, 21, and Lola, 20, with Sheen, 59. Richards adopted Eloise in 2011.)

Phypers, meanwhile, was legally married to Nicollette Sheridan when he began dating Richards. Phypers and Sheridan, 61, wed in December 2015, but filed for divorce less than one year later, finalizing their separation in August 2018.

Shortly after Phypers’ divorce from Sheridan was set, he and Richards tied the knot in September 2018.

“I am so happy to officially be married to the love of my life,” Richards told Us in a statement at the time. said “I can’t wait for everyone to go on this incredible journey with me this season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It’s been a wild ride so far!”

As their relationship played out on two seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Richards and Phypers weathered a few storms. Brandi Glanville claimed during a July 2020 episode that she and Richards had sex. Glanville also alleged Richards had an open marriage with Phypers. Richards denied the allegations and the couple remained a united front. Richards left RHOBH in September 2020.

In December 2024, ahead of her Bravo return with Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, Richards gushed about her relationship with Phypers, exclusively telling Us, “I love being married. I love my husband. I know not everyone does. I don’t understand them. But we like each other, and love being with each other.”

Richards said she and Phypers were “best friends,” noting that if one’s marriage “stays strong, your family is intact.”

That same year, Phypers and Richards faced ridicule after he was sued for alleged fraud and breach of oral contract in November 2024.

Phypers was accused by Rupert Perry of violating a verbal agreement regarding treatment at Phypers wellness center located in Malibu, California.

According to documents obtained by Us in January, Perry’s wife, Elina Katsioula-Beall, died of cancer in May 2024. She was allegedly treated by Phypers the year prior with Perry claiming that Phypers promised his stem cell treatment plan would “cure or at least ameliorate [her] condition.”

Perry claimed in his lawsuit that after the treatment didn’t work, he requested a refund, which Phypers allegedly promised at the start of the process. Perry alleged that Phypers ignored his request and therefore he was suing him.

A source later told Us that Phypers was “just the middleman who provided a space for the procedure to take place.” The insider added, “The company that provides this service is the one that would be providing the refund.”

The lawsuit was the latest in a series of legal problems Phypers faced prior to his split from Richards. In 2022, Creditors Adjustment Bureau filed a lawsuit against Phypers and his wellness company, Quantum Epigenetics Consulting LLC.

The debt collector claimed Phypers had defaulted on a $190,000 business loan he took out in late 2019. Phypers confessed to missing payments but said the pandemic is what led to it becoming a bigger problem.

Before going to trial, Phypers reached a settlement with the debt collector and agreed to start making payments in late 2023. Phypers allegedly made a total of $40,000 in payments but eventually defaulted again after stopping payments. As a result, Phypers was ordered to pay Creditors Adjustment $228,000 in July 2024.

To get their money, the debt collectors asked for permission to seize Richards’ assets as payment. Their lawyer wrote, “Denise Richards currently is, and at the time the debt was incurred was, the spouse of Defendant and Judgment Debtor Aaron William Cameron Phypers aka Aaron Phypers aka Aaron W. Phypers and is responsible for the community property debts.”

Phypers argued in a court filing obtained by Us that the company failed to find “evidence” that his and Richards “assets are community property.” His lawyers claimed, “While marital earnings (assuming the two are married) are generally community property, that is not necessarily the case. Married couple can enter into transmutation and other agreements that change the character of assets and earnings.”

Us exclusively reported last month that a Los Angeles Superior Court judge denied the Creditors Adjustment Bureau’s motion requesting Richards pay Phypers’ outstanding debt.
