ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KCTV) – Travis Kelce is already a superstar, but Friday, he’ll take center stage as a movie star.
Kelce is set to appear in Happy Gilmore 2, starring Adam Sandler, which premieres tomorrow on Netflix.
“It’s just a big deal,” running back Kareem Hunt said. “I can’t wait to see it.”

Coincidentally, the Chiefs are all currently living together in the dorms at Missouri Western in St. Joseph, Mo., for Training Camp.
His teammates say they’re ready for movie night.
“We’re going to watch it sometime soon, man,” Hunt said. “That’s pretty cool. I can’t wait to see his acting skills.”

“Really excited,” center Creed Humphrey said. “I don’t really know how big his role is or what he’s doing in it. I’m excited to see it, though. Happy Gilmore is an awesome movie, so I can’t wait for the sequel.”
From shooting a movie to traveling the globe, Kelce has stayed busy off the field, but the 35-year-old came prepared for his 13th training camp.
“He looks like he’s 20,” head coach Andy Reid said with a smile. “He’s doing a good job, and he’s in great shape. I’m not sure he didn’t come in first on the whole conditioning thing. He was right up front. You can see he’s been working out. He’s worked hard to get to this spot.”
