son.Kansas City Chiefs parade shooting: 2 teens face gun-related charges, resisting arrest leaves fans worried.

Two juvenile suspects have been charged in connection with Wednesday’s mass shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade that left one person dead and 22 others injured.

The two suspects, who are not being named due to their ages, are being held on gun-related charges and resisting arrest, according to the 16th Judicial Circuit Court of Missouri’s Jackson County Family Court Division. Additional charges are expected as the investigation continues, officials said.

“We regularly work with juvenile court officers on cases and we have worked with them on this case as well,” Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker said in a statement. “Though we do not oversee or supervise the juvenile officers, we work closely with them. We expect to be at future hearings regarding theses individuals who were charged today in Family Court.”

The shooting, which unfolded outside Union Station as Chiefs fans were leaving the parade and rally, appeared to stem from a dispute, police said.

Initially, three people were detained as suspects in the shooting but the third person — also a juvenile — has since been determined not to be involved with the shooting and was released from police custody, according to the police spokesperson.

Several guns were recovered, police said.

At least half of the victims involved in the mass shooting are under the age of 16, Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves said.

Children’s Mercy Hospital said it received 11 children, ranging in age from 6 to 15, though hospital officials did not specify if the 6-year-old was wounded by gunfire or injured in the resulting chaos. In total, nine of the children taken to Mercy Hospital had been shot, officials said, while three remained at the hospital on Friday.

4t.“He didn’t come to be seen… he came to remember” — Willie Nelson sat alone at Toby Keith’s grave and let his guitar do the talking. There were no headlines. There was no memorial concert. It was just Willie, his old Trigger guitar, and the Oklahoma breeze the day Toby Keith left this world a year ago. He played “Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground” — not for the crowd, but for the friend who had stood next to him in the same spotlight. Witnesses said the music flowed through the silence like a “prayer” — each note HEAVIER than the last. As the final chords settled, Willie whispered something into the tombstone, placed a wildflower at its base, and walked away — a living legend remembering the only way he knew how: with quiet, aching grace.

4t.Before he became a country outlaw legend, Willie Nelson was already shaping the sound of American music—penning some of its most iconic songs, including a defining hit for Patsy Cline. One of his earliest triumphs? “Crazy.” Though now inseparably linked to Patsy, the haunting ballad was actually written by Willie himself.“We went over to [Patsy’s] house and had a couple of beers,” he recalled. “I didn’t get out of the car. Charlie [her husband] went in, and Patsy came out and made me get out. I went in and sang it for her—and she recorded it the next week.”From a reluctant parking-lot serenade to a timeless classic—that’s the quiet, unmistakable magic of Willie Nelson.
