The step-grandson of Duane “Dog The Bounty Hunter” Chapman has died at the age of 13.
The teen, Anthony, was reportedly accidentally shot by his father, Gregory Zecca, the son of Dog the Bounty Hunter’s wife, Francie. The accident took place at Zecca’s home in Naples, Florida, on Saturday, July 19.

Dog and Francie released a brief statement asking for prayers.
“We are grieving as a family over this incomprehensible, tragic accident and would ask for continued prayers as we grieve the loss of our beloved grandson, Anthony,” the couple said in a statement given to TMZ.
UPDATE (JULY 21): The Collier County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement to PEOPLE on Monday (July 21) confirming that they responded to a call about a shooting around 8 p.m. EST.
The statement said that the sheriff’s office is “conducting a thorough investigation” that “includes statements from witnesses who were at the scene, forensic testing, subpoenas, and search warrants.” They called the accident an “isolated incident” and don’t anticipate that any arrests will be made.
Greg Zecca is a member of Dog’s bounty hunting team and, with Anthony, was often photographed alongside Dog.
This is a developing story.
