Jalen Hurts has led the Philadelphia Eagles back to Super Bowl contention despite criticism of some of his passing stats slipping year over year.

Hurts had 290 passing yards and two touchdown passes in Sunday’s win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. With a shiny necklace, he started his postgame press conference by asking reporters if “is that what they want to see?”

Domonique Foxworth, a former NFL defensive end and current ESPN analyst, said on “Get Up” Tuesday that the lack of backlash from Hurts’ postgame comments was a result of “privilege.”

“He stood up in the postgame press conference and acted like he was Josh Allen,” Foxworth said. “Look at this guy with the Kangol that looks like Nino Brown … with three trillion trillion dollars worth of diamonds around his neck and he acts like he just ran 400 yards three weeks in a row.

“Man, you had a good week. And everybody forgot about it when he started rolling his eyes at you.”

“Pretty privileged” or not, Hurts has the Eagles atop the NFC East for 15 weeks.

He has 2,892 passing yards, 18 touchdown passes and just five interceptions this season. His completion percentage (69.2%) is the highest of his career. And his 12 wins are close to his 14-1 record as a starter in 2022.
