RR “UPDATE: New Cowboys Coach Hit with Crushing Blow Amid Shocking Turn of Events”

The Dallas Cowboys are in a new era following the departure of Mike McCarthy as the franchise’s head coach and the promotion of former offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer to fill the role.

This will be Schottenheimer’s first time serving as an NFL head coach, but the energy and vibes In Dallas are already improved from the McCarthy days.

Unfortunately, it would appear that not everyone is sold on the rookie head coach’s ability to get it done on Sundays, as he recently came in at 31 out of 32 in a ranking of NFL head coaches released by CBS.

“To say his promotion after Mike McCarthy’s exit was an anticlimactic surprise would be an understatement,” CBS Sports wrote. “But this is Jerry Jones’ show, so it’s actually par for the course.

“Yes, Schottenheimer’s name may be bigger than his resume, but this man first held a coordinator job way back in 2006; it’s not like he’s totally lacking in NFL chops.“Are we sure there isn’t a remote possibility he makes like, say, Doug Pederson — another former NFC East hire who was overlooked by all except his own team’s powerful front office — and proves to be just the approachable leader Dallas needs?”

Schottenheimer shouldn’t be too deterred by the ranking. If he’s able to make the most of the Cowboys’ loaded roster, there’s no reason he can’t catapult to the top of the rankings in no time.

All that’s left to do is see if he actually has it in him.

They Thought the Show Was Over—Then 50 Country Legends Did the Unthinkable for Texas. Just as the final note faded and the curtain began to fall, something no one expected happened. Reba, Garth, Carrie, Vince Gill, Trisha, Lady A, and over 50 Grand Ole Opry icons quietly returned to the stage—not for an encore, not for applause, but for something heartbreakingly real. In complete silence, they locked arms and sang “Will the Circle Be Unbroken,” dedicating the soul-stirring harmony to the victims of the devastating Texas flood. No lights. No cameras. Just tears, raw voices, and a single candle glowing at center stage. Audience members were seen openly weeping, whispering, “This wasn’t a performance… it was a prayer.”
