After over a decade of accusations, legendary rapper Jay-Z is once again speaking out — this time asking a judge to step in and bring an end to what he calls a “decades-long harassment campaign.”
According to US Weekly, a man named Rymir Satterthwaite has filed yet another lawsuit claiming he is Jay-Z’s biological son, the result of an alleged relationship the rapper had with his mother in the early 1990s. Though Satterthwaite’s mother has since passed away, he insists his godmother — now his primary caregiver — has faced “ongoing efforts by [Jay-Z] and his enablers to suppress the truth.”
Jay-Z, however, has made it clear: he wants this to stop.

His legal team recently filed a motion asking the court to dismiss the claims, citing years of repeated, baseless accusations.
“These fabricated allegations have been reviewed and dismissed by multiple courts,” Jay-Z’s legal team stated. “Satterthwaite’s continued harassment and disregard of those rulings has already resulted in a contempt order.”
In his most recent filing, Satterthwaite — who is now 31 years old — accuses the rapper of refusing to take a DNA test and claims he has used legal maneuvers across various jurisdictions to delay or block the case. He also alleges that his car was shot at six times, which he believes may have been an attempt to silence him.
While he once sought child support, Satterthwaite says his aim now is compensation for the emotional distress, anxiety, and public humiliation he claims to have suffered over the years. His filing was submitted without legal representation.
Jay-Z’s lawyers say the rapper was unaware of this latest lawsuit until early this month and have asked the court for more time to prepare an official response.
“Mr. Carter will be irreparably prejudiced without additional time to evaluate and prepare his response,” the attorney said.
Interestingly, Jay-Z may have addressed these allegations in music before. On his 2007 track “American Gangster”, he raps:
“Ladies know I’m that guy, they wanna piece of my love / Now they wanna do your boy like Mike in his prime / ‘Billie Jean – the goddamn boy ain’t mine’.”
Meanwhile, Jay-Z continues to support his wife Beyoncé and daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi on the “Cowboy Carter Tour.” He’s been spotted at shows in cities like Paris and Atlanta, and recently attended an event hosted by friend and Fanatics founder Michael Rubin, proudly wearing a “Deja Blue” t-shirt — a tribute to Blue Ivy’s appearance in the tour.
