Travis Kelce shed 25 pounds in preparation for the upcoming 2025-26 NFL season after he was dragged for his “dad bod.”
ESPN Jeremy Fowler revealed that the Kansas City Chiefs star will “debut a bit of a slimmer look” when he returns to the field.
“He’s told people close to him that he’s lost about 25 pounds this offseason,” the journalist said on “Sports Center” Saturday.

Fowler noted that Kelce, 35, “played a little bit heaviest” last season, but “he vowed to change it — and he has.”

“This could be the last dance here for him,” the TV personality added, referring to the tight end’s rumored retirement plans.
“Mid-30s, still a productive player. They want to go to him on third down. [He’s] been declining a little bit,” Fowler continued. “He’s trying to be slimmer and has gone hardcore this offseason to make it work.”

Fowler explained that Kelce chose out of attending the Chiefs’ voluntarily organized team activities last week, although he will attend minicamp from June 17 to June 19.

“The Chiefs knew Kelce was going to be gone this week,” the journalist added. “He is expected back for minicamp. He’ll address the media and be on the practice field, all that fun stuff.”
Reps for Kelce weren’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.
The athlete’s physical transformation comes after he admitted to gaining weight ahead of the 2024-25 NFL season during a “New Heights” podcast episode in March 2024.
At the time, Travis shared that he and his older brother, Jason Kelce, were “in the same weight class” with the latter weighing around 280 pounds.
