A man was shot dead at Area 51 after trying to enter the top secret military base, something millions of people should be aware of before deciding to visit the base.

Area 51 is currently a top secret military base of the US Air Force.

According to Express, more than a million people have confirmed that they will participate in the call to break into the military base called Area 51 in the state of Nevada, USA. The CIA first confirmed the existence of the base in 2013 and this is considered the place where the US station hides secrets about aliens.

The call on Facebook reads: “We will meet at Area 51. If you run fast, they won’t be able to do anything. Come and see the aliens with your own eyes”. The event is scheduled for September 20.

The Air Force has warned that it will do everything possible to protect assets and national security, including opening fire.

In fact, there have been fatal shootings of people trying to enter this top-secret base in the past. On January 28, 2019, an unidentified man drove through a checkpoint to enter Area 51, about 70 miles (110 kilometers) from Las Vegas.

After a 13-kilometer chase, the suspect exited the vehicle with a “cylindrical object,” the base’s perimeter security force (NNSS) said.

The man refused to obey police officers and was shot dead at the scene.

The incident serves as a warning to those who might want to enter Area 51 to learn the mystery. “Area 51 is a military training area and we do not encourage anyone to attempt to enter,” said Laura McAndrews, a spokeswoman for the Air Force.

The event was well-received by many, but others called it a silly game. “I signed up just because it was fun. I won’t be there and I’m not responsible for what happens,” wrote Jackson Barnes.

Area 51 has been used by the US Air Force since 1955, but only those with valid identification are allowed inside. The area is currently heavily guarded by both the Nevada State Police and the US military.
