The Sharonville Police Department reported that the boy said he escaped from 2 white men. “One had curly black hair, was wearing a shirt and jeans with a spider web tattoo on his neck. The other was short in stature and had a snake tattoo on his arm.”

According to the boy, the kidnappers drove a Ford SUV with Wisconsin license plates to chase him. After escaping, he continued running across a bridge into Kentucky.
Police said Pitzen went missing after his mother, Amy Fry-Pitzen, 43, picked him up from school in May 2011. It is believed she took him to a Wisconsin amusement park, then committed suicide in a hotel room in Illinois. Fry-Pitzen left a note saying her son was fine and staying with a friend.

The FBI’s Louisville office confirmed on Twitter that it was working with law enforcement agencies to clarify the case. Officer Bill Rowley said Pitzer had been missing for more than 10 years and since then police have received thousands of reports of him appearing in different areas. The police force is currently sending two detectives to Cincinnati, Ohio to investigate further.
