Estelle Royle Peters turned her little girls into online stars after she shared the heartwarming photo on the Facebook page, Breastfeeding Mama Talk.
‘Ever caught one of your kids trying to “feed” their sibling?’ she captioned the image. ‘When your two-year-old tries to feed her newborn sister. Eh. My babies.

‘The older one is purple and blue from blueberries,’ she added.
In the photo, her oldest daughter is wearing only her diaper as she leans over her baby sister, trying to feed her.
The little girl, who is clearly imitating her mother when she is nursing, can be seen pinching a roll of skin near her crying sister’s head.

After the snapshot was shared on Facebook on Saturday, it has been liked more that 2,400 times, with many people commenting on the sweet moment.
‘Don’t think she’ll get much milk outta that fat roll! Too cute!’ Meghan Cusce wrote.
The photo also inspired other moms to share their own stories about their children trying to feed their younger siblings in a similar fashion.

‘When my [little one] was born and I was tired one day my five-year-old said “don’t worry mummy, you rest and I’ll feed him'” before pulling up his shirt,’ Lucy Gough recalled.
‘My one-year-old tried to nurse off her five-year-old sister the other day in the bath,’ Chassity Stawinski said. ‘I thought it was so cute. Every once in a while, she will bring her toys for me to nurse thinking it will work.’
Some moms noted that their children were extremely overprotective of their siblings and would scold them for not feeding them fast enough when they were crying.

‘When my little boy would start crying, his six-year-old sister would say, “He wants the boob mom!” — even while standing in line a the grocery store!’ Beckah Young revealed.
However, one mom is confident that her daughter will never try to breastfeed her baby brother ever again.
‘He latched one time and she has never played nursing again!’ Karen Leonhart explained.
